I'm finally headed to Holden village. There is a conference there this weekend for high school students and I'm taking a group from church. People always tell me, "oh you'd love Holden."
Holden Village is a small Lutheran village off in the mountains by Lake Chelan, WA. From what I understand they practice a very simple way of life, and focus on care for creation and spirituality. I think this will be an amazing time. I'll post pictures and tell you all about it when I get home, sometime on Tue...

Hey there, G. Mark. I just read the conversation you and Wiese posted on my blog. I was seriously thinking of deleting my whole site, but then I read your messages and decided against it. I lost my digital camera, so I had no pix to post, and then I got busy. That's it! I'm still alive, and will blog maybe Monday. I'm so glad you get to go to Holden! Enjoy! Drink tea and get toast from the toast bar for me, and worship in their awesome chapel with the butterfly ceiling. Let's have a margarita soon. ~tlb
