Also I wanted to put up a picture of my rain barrel system. It's pretty sweet.

Are you using the rain barrel system to store water for your lawn during the summer or ?
Thats a brilliant idea, I have been thinking of a similar idea to cut down on our water usage (and as a fix to one of my gutters that I don't have routed in to our drainage system).
Did you make it yourself or was it a prebuilt kit? The drums look really nice and I was wondering where you got them.

Wow, I'm retarded, goes to show you what I get for skimming the previous post... I started reading it and then stopped reading, only to go back and read it (after I left my comment on this post) and in there you talk about the barrels and where you got them.

wow man, the barrels are nice. I was just gonna put a empty plastic barrel at the end of the gutter. You went high brow. Do you by chance know my friend Tom? he lives in the suburbs and loves pre-made things someone could make at home for five bucks. I think your Alaskan spirit is diminished! LOL! Hope all is well.
