Excitement has reached fever pitch this morning at the Griffith house. I mailed off a few letters to esteemed members of the U.S. Senate. I really have no idea if it does any good, or if anyone actually reads them but it really does feel good. I even used the word “pejorative”, which I think is really cool. I can only hope that we have a government that listens to the people it is supposed to serve? Now that's a radical idea isn't it!

Also, I would like to offer a pre-emptive "you're welcome" to Folbot for thanking me for being such a good salesperson. I would like to take credit for a person who recently purchased a red Cooper in AZ. I’ll do my best to keep selling boats; I think a free hat would be nice.

Now that I’ve graduated my next task it to pack for the big move out to Washington State. I’ve officially accepted a call at Faith Lutheran Church in Shelton, WA. I will be moving out there June 15th. Once I move out there I’ll head up to Juneau, AK where I will be ordained at Resurrection Lutheran Church on July 15th at 4pm. I begin my pastoral duties on August 1st.

This afternoon, Heather and I will drive to Kansas City, MO to see Grandma and go to my cousin’s high school graduation. I figure since I’m leaving the mid-west it might be good to take advantage of being able to see family before I move west.
