It FLOATS!! I had a bit of time this afternoon so I took the new kayak out. My exotic adventure destination: Galena, IL. There is a great boat ramp there and I was happy to discover a nice grassy place to put together this contraption. I put it together in about 15min, much faster than last time.


So I know you are all dying to know, 'how does it paddle?' It's strange at first. It kinda feels like you are sitting in a waterbed. The skin moves with the water a little bit and you can feel the water right next to you. Other than that little oddity it paddles fine, it feels solid and moves around great. I didn't roll it today but that will happen soon. I'm told it is one of only a few folding kayaks that can actually do that so we'll see...
