Today I have finished my first week at church. One week ago today I began my day with VBS, then assisted in a funeral--and it's been busier since. I've been out visiting some wonderful people from this congregation, planning worship, and I preach for the first time here the comming Sunday. Life is busy but I'm loving it.
Heather and I have been working on moving into our new house. It's exciting but a lot of work...I can't wait until we can just live there and have it be a home. Right now it's still a giant project.
Well I'll post more as the adventure continues. Take care everyone!

Welcome to Shelton!
I work for the PUD (across the street from FBC) so if you go to cofee with Justin, he is required to let me know so I can tag along.
My wife and I just built a house in Shelton here a year or so ago after moving up from Portland.
But yeah, would love to get to know you (christian leaders in shelton my age for the win!)

It is now the Rev. G. Mark Griffith, I believe, is it not?
I am glad the 1st week in your first pastorate was not too overwhelming.
I hope the critics go easy on you for the first sermon.
Too bad Pastor Steve won't be there, or does he know something we don't?
I am looking forward to coming north sometime, after you are settle in the new house.
