It's been a little too long since my last post, sorry Justin. I've been pretty busy lately. This congregation has a lot going on, and they keep my calendar full. I did my first wedding on Saturday, which was fun. It was an outdoor wedding and the day looked to be fairly nice, but about 5 min. after I started the service it started to sprinkle, and that turned into a good steady soaking for a few minutes. Some pages of my sermon got stuck together, so the sermon was almost really short. The rain didn't last long though. In fact the sun came right back out and it got really hot.
Yesterday after church, which was plesantly uneventful, a couple from the congregation invited all the young people out to their house. They live on a lake and have a dock, ski boat, and all the fun water toys. Hard to resist. I wake boarded one time about 5 years ago on Lake Powell, AZ. I got up right away and was moving the board around and trying to get a feel for it and slam. I really don't even remember falling it happend that fast. I leaned a little bit too far forward and dug the front of the board into the wake. Ouch. Everyone on the boat agreed they hadn't seen a crash that hard in a while. I got back up though and kept going, good times.
I feel like it's time to get back to school, I think it will take some time to get used to the idea that I get to live here for a while. I can actually hang things on my walls and settle down for a bit. Werid. I hope everyone is doing well, keep in touch.

Amen to the whole getting used to "settling in" thing. It's definitely an odd feeling knowing that you can possibly hang out somewhere for longer than one year.
And hey, at least you posted something before Tracey did! :-)
