I thought I'd take a moment and update my sort of neglected blog here. Heather and I have been moving along getting settled into our house and we're really enjoying it. It's fun to have our own place where we feel like we'll be for a while. We are starting to hang things on the wall and feel like it's a permanent place. Exciting times.
We went up to Seattle last night to visit the University of Washington Library Science program. They had a little open house to talk to perspective students about the program and application process. It was interesting to learn more about it and I think Heather is getting more excited about starting school in the next year.
For members of the congregation who are reading this I want to plug a few up coming events:
Sunday Sept. 23rd Youth event at Pastor Mark's house! We'll meet at my house at 12:30 for lunch and some fun stuff. This event for for Middle School through High School youth.

Saturday Sept.29th Family Hike. Meet at the church at 10am. Remember we're not worried about fast or far, but having a good time.

Every Wed. in Oct. at 6pm The Lutheran Handbook course. Let's learn about what it means to be Lutheran in our world today. This course is fun for life long Lutherans, brand new Lutherans and everyone in between. Even if you don't consider yourself Lutheran this class will have something for you.
