Not too bad

Yesterday I went golfing for the very first time! My good friends Tom and Shane took me out to Timberland golf course and we played nine holes. Admittedly, I had some bias against golf going in to it. Everyone knows the stereotypes of golfers, stodgy and pretentious with bad pants. However, with the right crowd it was actually a great time. I still am not sure how one would take this game too seriously though. I see that there is skill and talent involved, but really at the end of the day you are hitting a little ball around a big yard with an assortment of sticks.

All in all it was really fun and I’m glad I did it. I would even do it again should the opportunity arise. I’m not sure it would ever be something I would really get into, but it’s not too bad.
