Some Pictures of the last journey

So here's a story for you. A little while ago I was down in IL for my friend Tom's ordination. I rented a car in Chicago and drove to Dubuque spent a few days with Pastor Shane Koepke near Dubuque and then drove to IL for the service. I gave another friend of mine, Pastor Shannon a ride to IL. She left her coffee mug in my rental car and I did not have one inch of room in my carry on ( it was a quick trip, all I had was a carry on). So I washed it out and got a cup of coffee at the air port. Now it sits in my house in Washington. I thougth it would be funny if before I mail this thing back to her if I took pictures of people with the mug in various places along the way. When we went to Cannon beach a few weeks ago I thought it would be a good photo opp. for the mug. So Shannon there it is, your mug is safe and sound enjoying a day at the beach.

Cannon Beach is a beautiful place, these giant rocks stick right out of the sand.

You've got to read the display board for this one. This is a picture of Ethan at the Navajo Code talkers display in AZ. You won't believe this, the display/memorial for the men and woman who worked for the U.S. Army during WWII as code talkers is in a Burger King in a random town on the Reservation. Funny way of saying thanks...

Did you know it is possible to awkwardly squat in four states at once, turns out...it is. Amazing.

Here's Ethan going for some sort of a sweet spiderman move.

So here's what you have to look forward too, pictures of the trip to Telluride skiing etc...
They'll be up soon. As soon as my hobo friend Ethan emails me the pictures.
